TRISTAN KENYON

Director / Writer / Producer

Tristan began producing short films as a teenager with his high school animated short Suburban Reality recognised at state level and screened in the Australia Art Gallery of NSW. Now, spanning more than two decades, Tristan’s work as a director and producer ranges from fictional drama and documentary to television commercials and corporate production.

His passion for storytelling has inspired Tristan to focus on multiple disciplines such as directing, writing and editing. Earlier in his career he directed short films such as Persons of Interest and Without Fear and he co-founded a production company dedicated to creating high-quality scenes for actors seeking representation in the film industry.

Tristan completed his directorial feature debut Changing Track in 2025 which is the first film to be co-produced with brother Timothy Kenyon out of newly formed Sydney production company, ARA Films.

TIMOTHY KENYON

Director of Photography / Writer / Producer

From an early age Timothy was passionate about cinema and the film making process. Drawn into the world of photography by his grandmother, Timothy later went on to take up photography in high school. Timothy and his brother Tristan both shared the childhood dream of making their own films and passionately pursued that dream most of their lives.

Timothy has been working professionally in the Australian and International film industry for over twenty years.
While his roles have varied from Producer, Editor, Compositor and Cinematographer, the focus of his career has been Animation and Visual Fx, specializing in technical lighting and cinematography. Timothy’s highlights in recent years include Happy Feet 2, The Great Gatsby, The Lego movie franchise, Disney’s The Jungle Book and the Peter Rabbit films.

In 2024, he stepped away from the animation world to co-produce with brother Tristan Kenyon on their documentary feature debut Changing Track combining both brother’s 20 years of experience to realise the shared cinematic language of the Kenyon brothers.

ROMAIN MONGIN

Editor

Romain has been working as an editor for the last seventeen years in a wide variety of disciplines ranging from film to broadcast and advertising. He currently runs a video production company based in the Blue Mountains.

His first feature film as an editor was 2018’s Book Week – directed by Heath Davis – which received an AACTA nomination for best Indie Film. Romain went on to cut Davis’ next three films, including the action thriller Locusts and the 2024 AACTA-nominated comedy Christmess.

Romain made his directorial debut in 2024 with King of the Mountains, a feature documentary about ultra-marathon runner Will Corlett. His latest work as film editor is Tristan Kenyon’s Changing Track.

ANTHONY EL-AMMAR

Music Composer

Anthony El-Ammar is a film and TV composer with over 20 years of experience creating soundtracks that enhance storytelling and evoke emotion. His credits span multiple genres, with TV shows and documentaries that have reached international audiences.

Anthony is also the founder of Evolution Series, one of Australia’s leading sample library companies, known for producing high-quality sounds that inspire composers and sound designers globally. Whether composing for screen or developing tools for the creative community, his work is driven by authenticity, innovation, and a deep passion for music.

EDWARD FEDERMAN

Executive Producer / Chief Executive Officer 

With more than 40 years of experience in the building services industry, Edward Federman co-founded the ARA Group in 2001 with a vision to build the business through organic growth and strategic acquisitions. Since 2001, Edward has helped to grow the business to employ more than 4,000 people across a diverse range of product and service divisions. ARA operates in more than 100 locations throughout Australia and New Zealand.

Under Edward’s direction, ARA has gained recognition as an industry leader with a strong sense of commitment and giving back to the communities in which it operates.
